Ko Murobushi
After studying under Tatsumi Hijikata in the late 1960's, Murobushi gave up dance to become a wandering monk in the Yamabushi tradition. He returned from his ascetic life in the mountains and co-founded the performance group Dai Rakuda Kan together with Akaji Maro in 1970.
In 1972, Murobushi co-founded the all-female company Ariadone with with Carlotta Ikeda,.
